Here are 3 steps that will help you find your style
Ok, my ladies! We are having some downtime due to Covid19, this sucks but I have to remind myself many times a day that it will pass and I want to make sure when you are ready for your trial, YOU know what you want, I want you to be confident on your decisions!
Step #1 Ask yourself these questions-
- Do you tend to play with your hair?
- Does your hair struggle with volume?
- Do you tend to get hot when your hair is down?
- Do you want to use your own hair texture?
- Will you need to get hair extensions?
- What about color?
- Should you get bangs?
- How soon is too soon to commit to a style?
By answering these questions you and your hairstylist will be able to have a better idea of what you are looking for!
Example-
If you get hot even in winter, your best choice is to keep it up! If you hate to have all your hair up, you can go with a romantic look- think messy with some pieces falling out!
If you want volume, you can always use extensions or use padding to make sure your hair doesn't go flat. Your stylist should be able to use different techniques and products to give you a long-lasting look.
Step #2 Please look for inspiration on how you want the front to look!
I will just own it- I am guilty of only showing pictures of the back of the hair... and forget about the front... The most important part!!!
Trust me, your photographer will take a few shots of the back.. but your face will be in every single picture! So don't be like me!
The best place to find inspiration.... your own camera roll. YUP! check and see if you can find a picture where you were so happy about the part or softness of your bangs.
Step#3 Give yourself enough time!
Have trials at least 5 months in advance if possible, I find it more helpful for you as a bride and for the stylists being able to have a window time to get you the right color, layers, or just have the time to nurture it!
Here are some of my faves from my own babes!
