THE GOOD AND BAD MOMENTS FROM 2017
After a few (good) weeks off, enjoying time with family, snow and lots of foods, it’s time to get back to my “business” routine… and yes, this means working on emails at 3 in the morning! And getting this blog done before the New Year.
Last year, I wanted to conquer social media, blog every month, make it to every rising tide society meeting, meet up with vendors and spend some time with my sweet friends… Well, nothing went the way I wanted to.
Things that went wrong-
1- I got burned out with the whole Instagram game, I deleted the app more than 5 times (maybe more). Trying to keep it pretty and make it personal was a pain!
2- Blogging sucks!
3- I missed a wedding of someone who is very special to me.
4- I didn’t get to see my closest friends.
5- Even though I made it to most of the Rising tide society meetings, I missed tons of happy hours.
What I think went right? There’s a few! Please have some faith…
1- I booked the most amazing Brides! (you girls, made every day worth it)
2- I met with Toni, not only is she an amazing photographer. Toni is also a bad ass business coach!! She helped me make so many decisions and changes for my 2018 Brides!
3- I learned to ask for help! Thank you, Nereida!!! You’re the best!
4- I got to work with pretty cool vendors!
5- I won Best makeup AAAAAND hair award by Seattle Bride Magazine! For the past years I've been nominated and trust me I was fine with just being nominated, but man it feels SO good to win! Thank you, baby Jesus!, & to all the ones that voted for me!
I’m sure there are more blessings and those will outshine what went wrong, so cheers to 2017 *clink* Here’s to my Brides! Friends! Family members! Thank you so much for the laughs & tears we’ve shared this year. And to you 405 and I5… we cool! *clink* *clink* & *clink*
2017 Thanks for the struggles! 2018 I’m so ready for you!!
