Makeup Tips for your New Year's eve Party!
I've always dreamed of doing a style guide, and when I brought it up to Brittany from Blue Rose Photography and Tamara from Simply By Tamara Nicole they were in!
(Side note- a HUGE thanks to them. Ladies, listen up! you guys are the BOMB!!! I'm thankful of our friendship and how easy and meaningful it's working with you both!)
Everything started when some wardrobe came in late and I just couldn't let go of these dresses, Tammy started to contact some of the top Vendors from Seattle- Carla from Honey Crumb Cake Studio , Gina From The Ground Up Floral, Catering by Ravishing Radish Catering, Rentals by Grand Event Rentals, Kelly with Mint Afternoon.
After we got our 3 models I knew I needed someone to help me out! and that's when Jen came in! As the lead Makeup and Hair Artist, I just knew what I wanted for every look, and I believe I got what I wanted :) (Wooohooo! go, Team!)
I hope you like the looks!

Straight Sequins Wrap Over Maxi Dress
The most important part of this look is to show off our luminous skin! Use a medium to full coverage foundation all over, add bronzer to give definition to your face and highlighter where light naturally hits your face. For deeper definition cave out your cheeks with a sculpting powder. Don’t forget to add lashes, a few coats of mascara and to finish this look go with a soft lip.

Glitter and cherry lips! Who says you can’t wear both at the same time? We started this look with an even complexion, using Charlotte Tilbury wonder glow. For eyes, we define the eye shape going over the cut crease with a blending brush. Remember, we just want to define the eye. We want the glitter to be the focus! Add the glitter using a flat brush, pack the product carefully across the lid. If you have any fallout use a strip of tape to remove it. To finish the look, add a bright cherry lip stain, be ready to drink & laugh without having to worry about your smile!

With this looks you want to focus on your eyes. Yes, smokey eyes can be a little scary but remember “smokey” it's a technique not a “one fits all type of look”. Keep your eyeshadow close to your eyes, adding lashes that suits your eye will help you lift them up. Use a soft pink blush to bring some color to your skin, cream blushes will melt in your skin giving you a younger, fresher look! And top it all off with a natural pink lipstick.
Now go and get FANCY!!!
